Last week I got my hands on Mass Effect 2, I can honestly say that since then little else has been on my mind. I have so far completed the game twice and are on my third playthrough. I have started a new ME1 charater to play through ME2 later on and managed to make boyfriend play though ME2 as well. And yes this is in about a weeks time.

I have been called fanatic and obsessed by people at school, hell I call myself a fantaic and obsessed - its the damn simple truth. I play ME2, I draw ME2, I think ME2, I even dream ME2 at this point. Now mind you, this isn't that common for me. I play alot of games and usually like most I play, but so far its only been Biowares games that made me feel so obsessed. ME1 thrilled me, DA: Origins enthralled me and now ME2 has completley burned me up inside and out. Does this mean I think the game is perfect? Hardly, I can always find room for improvments.

The bad sides to ME2 is mainly that it somehow felt a bit short. I never really felt myself getting fuled up over the Collecters, who are after all the main antagonists in the game. A few more cutscenes of them attacking colonies or a few more missions to find info about them would probably have made me burn more for their destruction. I also feel there could have been more Dialoges when it cames to the squad memebers. The dialoges was nice and interesting, just wish there had been more quantity to them, also more random banter and comments when you move about would have been fun and more interaction between the squad members - was hard to know what they really thought of each other...

The good sides, well the looks of the game, the improvments to the system - I like the skills better in ME2 then ME1 felt more fluid. The movment and interaction in fights. And of course the squad members. I can say honestly that it is some of the characters in ME2 that really makes me feel obssessed about this game. They instill inspiration in me and makes me want to capture moments I see in my head. And its been a while since I have managed to feel that way. Heck I have been more productive when it comes to art in the past week, despite all the gameing, then I was under a good part of last year. The downside to that is that I still haven't gotten my scanner set up and my phone camera is still down so no pictuers of my art (tip, do not spill orange juice over your cellphone and not realise it. Its usually bad for it.)
